Itineraries
Day 1
Srinagar
On arrival at Airport / Railway Station and you will be met, assisted, and driven to Srinagar. Transfer to Houseboat. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and enjoy the Shikara Ride and scenic view of the mountain ranges around Dal Lake. Overnight stay in houseboat.
Day 2
Srinagar - Local sightseeing (27 km)
Next Day visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh(Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) the Mughals laid out in the 16th century. These fall along the banks of the Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing a panoramic view of the entire city, along with the famous Dal Lake & River Jehlum, en route visiting handloom center famous for the production of Pashmina/ shahtoosh shawls & world over carpets. Night stay in Hotel.
Day 3
Srinagar - Gulmarg (52 km/2 hours)
After breakfast at Hotel and leave for Gulmarg, which lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 km. On an altitude of 2730 mts. above sea level, snow-caped mountains are all around the place. You can even have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It is one of the premiere winter sports Ski resorts for skiers with one of the world's highest 18-hole golf courses. For joy seekers, a cable car up to Alpather via Kongdori by Asia's longest-run cable car ride approx. 5 km. and altitude wise world's highest-run Cable Car conquering almost 14000 ft Height, return back to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4
Srinagar - Sonamarg
Leave after breakfast for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg - The Meadow of Golds. From Srinagar in the northeast of Srinagar at an altitude of 3000 mts, above sea level. The place offers incredible Scenic beauty (while driving to Sonamarg) dense pine forests, Gigantic Mountains. The place itself is a popular resort for mountaineers, and rock climbing, besides an important halt on way to Kargil (Ladakh) & provides the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountains, lakes, glaciers & Shri Amarnath Ji holy cave. Evening return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5
Departure
